I cannot say enough good things about Lawn Doctor of Bakersfield!! Many of the staff members were out of town at a conference when I had initially reached out to them for an evaluation of my yard, but they assured me that they would get back to me as soon as they were in town. And unlike many companies who say they will and don't, Lawn Doctor did! Emilee has been on top of communication and education every step of the way, and Roman was equally as friendly and educational when he came to evaluate our lawn in person. Through every interaction with these two you can tell that their job is not just about making money - they truly want what is best for the customer and the lawn in question. They educated without making me feel dumb, left lots of room for me to ask questions, and were diligent about creating a plan that works for my yard. Thank you guys so much! ~ Victoria V

I've been with the Lawn Doctor for 7 months now. Emilee the owner is knowledgeable about all things lawns. She really takes care of her customers. We recently had a glitch in communication. When Emilee became of aware of the issue she resolved the situation quickly. Roman arrives monthly To service my lawn. He's pleasant and definitely a hard worker. Emilee knows my goal is to have a healthy good looking lawn. Maybe the best in my cul de sac?! No pressure Roman hahaha. Bakersfield Burmuda is tough to keep green and looking healthy. Great experience working with Lawn Doctor. Setting up the service appointment and handling billing was very easy. On the day of the service appointment, the technician (Roman) was on time and very professional. He completed his work efficiently and cleaned up before he left. I had been meaning to rent an aeration machine and aerate the lawn myself but never found the time to do it. With their competitive pricing and great work, there is no need to do this work yourself, just call Lawn Doctor. I highly recommend their services and will be a repeat customer. ~ Marcelo H

I appreciate the Lawn Doctor company’s professionalism and expertise. I contacted them about an army worm Infestation that had been going on for several months and that I had already treated in 3 different ways. When Emily came to assess the situation, she did not try to sell me army worm service. She said the army worms were gone and they were gone. She also gave me good advice about my yard. We struggled for years to try to get our lawn looking good. Chemicals and fertilizer, following the directions of the local gardening store. But, we still had dead patches and weeds. I decided to call Lawn Doctor. Emilee came out, she was super nice, very knowledgeable, and explained what she was seeing and laid out a plan. We were skeptical, but decided to give it a try for a year to see if she could turn it around. It has been less than a year and our lawn looks better than it ever has. Emilee and her staff were professional and helpful. Emilee was very knowledgeable when she came to the house for the initial evaluation of our yard & flowerbeds. When the technician came to the house he was very patient and thorough answering all my questions. My lawn is serviced by Lawn Doctor of Bakersfield monthly. Roman, the highly trained and knowledgeable lawn care technician that keeps my lawn green and healthy. He also kills the weeds that happens to spout up. He always reports on the condition of my lawn. If there is a problem with my lawn he alerts and suggestwhat can be done about the problem. I’ve had The Lawn Doctor taking care of my lawn now for about 8 months now and my grass is looking better than it ever has. Roman is very knowledgeable and friendly. Roman arrived as scheduled, and patiently schooled me in the problems my yard presents. He outlined a reasonable plan of attack; unfortunately, there just wasn't enough existing grass for Lawn Doctor's services to help. Ultimately we decided to go with a landscaping makeover, but if we stay with a grass lawn we'll be contacting them for regular treatments. We recommend this company. ~ Bill C

Emilee, the Boss, is exceptionally attentive and responsive and her main man Roman, who does the bulk of the applications, is unfailingly pleasant and knowledgeable. I have been using Lawn Doctor for well over one year and the same technician (Roman) has been conducting the service during this timeframe. He’s professional and does a thorough job. Excess fertilizer is removed from concrete surfaces and clear instructions are left regarding proper watering after the service. ~ T H
